Hello, we are heading in from a very exciting half day trip. We had full boat with passengers of all ages out today. We fished a wide area of spots today lookin for that one stone that would really go for it. Though we never found it, we did get into some decent rockfish fishing and there were a handful of ocean whitefish off each spot as well.

Later in the afternoon as we were just about to pull off of a spot a giant school of barracuda swam right under the boat. We pitched a few live baits out and were bit immediately. Most of the Fish were just under legal size but put up a really good fight. We had a blast watching the schools of Fish come crash the surface for a sardine. It was wide open fishing for a while and then we stayed a little late to do a few more rockfish drifts after.

For our 25 anglers we caught 108 rockfish, 2 sheephead and 17 ocean whitefish. The Coral Sea is booked up for the 3/4 day trip tomorrow but please book your reservations now for upcoming trips through our website or call the Santa Barbara Sealanding at 805-963-3564.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
