Nice fishing for us again today folks. We got off the dock this morning with 28 eager anglers and headed back across to Santa Rosa Island for the day.
We started our day and deeper water and had decent fishing on our first couple drifts on lingcod however decide to head shallower to try to diversify our catch for our group. The middle of our day was quite scratchy with each spot kicking out 10-15 or so fish. We did come across a good school of whitefish and put the anchor down for a bit. After catching some whitefish we headed back out to a little deeper water. As luck would have it our last drift of the day was by far the best and our group had a blast catching giant coppers, some nice reds and managed to get the remaining lingcod we needed for limits.
In total our 28 anglers ended the day with 196 Assorted Rockfish, 73 whitefish and 56 Lingcod.
The Stardust is 1/2 Day fishing tomorrow with a light load and the Coral Sea is 3/4 Day fishing as well. Please call Sea landing at 805 963-3564 or visit our website to book online.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
