On our way in from a great 1/2 day trip.  It was another beautiful day on the water, you could not ask for anything nicer. We loaded up on some live bait and headed out to our local grounds and fished some shallow water rockfish stones in the morning. We found some decent reds biting right away and fished hard throughout that area for a while. 

When it started to slow down around noon we headed a bit deeper and had some ok fishing in rockfish and whitefish. We picked along for the rest of the day but ended up with some awesome bags for our passengers to take home.

For our 25 anglers today we caught 95 red rockfish 84 rockfish, 1 sheephead and 32 ocean whitefish. The stardust is 3/4 day fishing tomorrow with lots of space available. 3/4 day fishing Friday and Sunday. All trips are a go with lots of room!
