Hello everybody here is your 3/4 day report for the stardust. We are headed back from the islands right now while the crew is hard at work processing today's catch and cooking burgers. We headed out of the harbor today with a light load. We shot over to Santa Rosa island first thing this morning and got into some monster rockfish and lingcod right away in the shallow water.
We found very steady fishing in most of the stops we made today. We put on a lot of fish on each stop with light currents and virtually no wind. The best baits today were the squid and anchovy combination on dropper loops. Our passengers fished hard for quite a while and ended up with limits of rockfish and lingcod plus a couple other mixed species.
For our 14 anglers we caught 42 reds, 62 coppers with 36 assorted rockfish, 1 sheepshead, 1 ocean whitefish and 28 lingcod. The stardust is privately chartered tomorrow but feel free to book spots for Sunday's 1/2 day or our 3/4 day trips Monday-Wednesday on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
