We had a private charter today that was interested in staying along the coast, so we did. We had a nice weather report for the which made for a very nice day on the water.
When we got to our first zone the current was kicked up quite a bit, however it made for nice long drifts where we did a lot of damage on coppers and reds along with many other assorted rockfish and some lingcod. Our current conditions never changed much and we fished hard all day where we pulled up nice singles and doubles all around the boat.
We topped off our bags just as the wind was starting to fill in and we headed for home with limits of Rockfish and other species. Our group had a blast today and for our 35 anglers we ended up with 350 rockfish, 3 ocean whitefish and 6 lingcod.
The Stardust is 1/2 day fishing Monday with lots of room, IT IS A GO JUST SHOW UP. We are 1/2 day Monday & Tuesday, 3/4 day Thursday-Monday so feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
