Hello everybody here is your stardust 3/4 day report. We headed across to Santa Rosa island this morning with beautiful weather. We decided to give a shot at fishing for some game fish first thing in the morning with recent reports of white sea bass being caught. We metered some scattered fish in the zone but had no takers. We gave it a good couple hours in the morning but decided to head off to the rockfish zone and put some fish in the bags.

Our rockfish fishing was also fairly slow. The water was an off color and we had some interesting currents and wind direction that made our drifts very short. We had a couple decent stops for some good reds and lingcod but scratched it out the rest of the day. 

For our 29 anglers we ended up with 73 rockfish, 2 ocean whitefish and 15 lingcod. The stardust still has room for the 3/4 day trip tomorrow, Feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
