We headed over to Santa Rosa island this morning with glassy calm conditions. We targeted lingcod first thing and had steady fishing right away on good quality lingcod and we picked up some nice rockfish as well.
We had a decent amount of current today that allowed us to fish a long area of hard bottom which was perfect for longer drifts when the fish were biting. We limited out on our lingcod and headed a little deeper in search of rockfish. The rockfish were also around today and willing to bite the squid strips as well as the live anchovy. Our passengers had a blast pulling in some quality reds, coppers and other assorted rockfish in the afternoon.
For our 18 anglers we ended up with 180 rockfish and 36 lingcod. The stardust still has lots of room for tomorrow's 3/4 day trip. Feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sealanding at 8059633564.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
