The water temperature is 66 degrees. Striper: Medium Action: By inlet but North of it also... Coves over by ramp 2 and can be caught on various types of bait: shad, white jigs, anchovies, chicken liver and mackerel. Blue Gill: Slow Action: In 8-10 feet of water using red worms, wax worms night crawlers and plastic worms over at ramp 1 area and across from the Marina. Catfish: Slow Action: Catfish will be getting active with the water warming up. A few Anglers have been successful this week catching cats over in ramp 2 area, bait that has been successful this week is anchovies. Cats can be caught on chicken livers, anchovies, and gulp bait. Large Mouth: Medium to High Action: Still going strong... small dark color plastics and night crawlers. Bass are in front of tollies, but a little deeper. Not in the beds. Trout: Medium Action: The last Trout plant of the season was on March 22, 2017. Lots of nice sizes still being caught over by Launch ramp 2. Power Bait has been working best, also try Nightcrawlers. Carp: High Action: Always fun to catch. Use your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover.

The water temperature is 58-60 degrees, water level is up, visibility 2-3 Feet!! The weather has cooled down with the rain! Lots of bigger fish have been caught on plastics as well as slow tolled Rapalas. Fish are spread throughout the lake. Striper: Medium Action.. The water temperature is 52 degrees, water level is up!! Fish seem to be going deep throughout the lake! Best hot spots to hit are mostly being caught in the middle of the lake, over by the buoy line, and near the Inlet. Launch Ramp 2 has also been a hot spot! Next Trout plant is March 8” 2017.
