Hello everybody, The Stardust is heading in from a great 3/4 day trip. We changed it up a little bit this morning and headed straight to the shallow water at Santa Cruz Island with beautiful weather conditions. We found fish willing to bite right away and caught lots of rockfish and whitefish along with a few sheepshead. We fished the shallows for a few hours with fairly consistent fishing until we were close to our rockfish limits.

We decided to head to deeper water in search of better quality fish to top off our bags with and found some deep stones that kicked out some monster reds along with a few decent lingcod. Our passengers had a blast fishing the shallower water in the morning and were happy with the good quality we found later on in the day.

For our 23 passengers we caught limits of rockfish, 8 sheepshead, 6 lingcod, 3 sculpin and 30 ocean whitefish. The Stardust is down tomorrow and private chartered Saturday and Sunday. However, you can book spots now for future trips on our website or call the Sea landing at  805-963-3564.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
