Fishing at Castaic is picking up.The water level at Castaic is above 90 %.The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing is good.The bass are getting ready to spawn and moving shallow.Most bass are being caught on plastic worms like roboworms and senkos and on night crawlers in 5 to 20 ft.

A few stripers have been caught on cutbait,nightcrawlers and lugworms in 30 to 60 ft.The catfish and bluegil bite has been picking up.We should be receiving a trout plant this week.
