Fishing at Castaic has slowed down a bit this last few weeks.The water level at Castaic is at 93% capacity.All the new water has affected the fishing but when everything settles it should pick up. Guys are still catching a few good size stripers on icejigs and spoons in 50 to 75ft. deep.We should be receiving a trout plant this week.A few bigger stripers were caught the day of the last plant on swimbaits. The largemouth and smallmouth fishing has been tough.Your best chance for bass is spoons,icejigs and and small plastics in 20 to 50 ft.There have been a few reports of guys catching largemouth bass in less than 10ft deep on plastics.
