Hello everyone we are heading back after a fun day in the shallow water with our full boat of 40 anglers enjoying the gorgeous weather and sunny skies.
Our morning was extremely tough for us with lots of tangles and rather uncooperative fish however the afternoon fishing we had in tight to the island was rather action packed and we ended up putting a nice day together. The squid strips on double dropper loops and a small pitch out away from the boat worked very well for the copper Rockfish, big whitefish and some other mixed fishes in the shallows this afternoon. A big thanks to the crew for working so hard today and everyday keeping everyone fishing.
Our 40 anglers ended the day with 174 Copper Rockfish, 71 misc. Rockfish, 57 whitefish, 3 Cabezon and 20 Lingcod.
The Stardust still has a few spots available on Friday's 3/4 Day trip and the rest of our trips on both boats are sold out for the remainder year. We look forward to seeing all who are not able to make it out this last week next season starting March 1st.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
