Hello everybody, here is your 3/4 day report for the Coral Sea. We started in the deeper water this morning at Santa Rosa and found scratchy fishing on rockfish and lingcod. We moved shallower and up the islands throughout the day and found a couple zones that bit decent on chucklehead and we picked a few lingcod and other mixed fish from numerous spots throughout the day. It was beautiful weather all day and our passengers had lots of fun fishing that shallower water. For our 22 anglers our count was 181 rockfish with 4 cabezon, 2 sheepshead, 6 ocean whitefish and 45 lingcod.

The coral sea is booked up through the end of the year but if you don't have a spot yet check back regularly to see if there are any cancelations, also the Startdust still has some room on Friday and Saturdays 3/4 day trips. Feel free to book your spots online or call the Sealanding at 805-963-3564.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action

Our morning started off well, we had a one good stop that gave us a lot of rockfish and a couple lingcod. After our morning bite some stops were very slow and others kicked out some reds and chucks with many other assorted rockfish.  Towards the end we did have to work hard for...... Read More
