Good afternoon folks we are heading in from fishing between Santa Rosa and Santa Cruz island today with 25 anglers on board.
Very nice weather today for us and despite strong current we were able to put together a nice day for our group. Mostly big Copper Rockfish with only a sampling of Lingcod along with a few other misc. fishes... Those using the live sardine definitely out preformed the guys using Squid due to the recent abundance of big mackeral. Our group did a great job throughout the day and worked very well together.
Our 25 anglers that fished all day ended up with 146 Copper Rockfish, 43 misc.rockfish, 4 Sheephead, 4 Whitefish and 17 Lingcod.
The Stardust is cancelled tomorrow due to lack of reservations and will be back online Thursday-Sunday on 3/4 Day trips. The Coral Sea will be 3/4 Day fishing Tuesday and Wednesday this week so please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 to make a reservation or visit our website to book online
