Stardust 3/4 Day trip

Another beautiful day on the water for us with a light load of 24 anglers.  We fished the front side of the island today and found a few stones that were rather steady on both a nice grade of copper Rockfish and toothy critters. 

We enjoyed a couple hours of steady fishing before our current picked up causing things to slow down.  Our group did an excellent job today and capitalized on the good fishing early before conditions changed.  The double dropper loop and live sardine seemed to work the best and the Squid strips helped for the Rockfish when there were less mackeral around.  

Our 24 anglers tallied up 107 Copper Rockfish, 39 misc. Rockfish, 1 Sheephead and 72 Lingcod. 

The Stardust has a couple spots still available for Friday's 3/4 Day trip.  The Coral Sea is chartered Saturday and 3/4 day fishing Sunday. Call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 or visit our website to book online.
