Beautiful day of weather today folks. Today we got out with 36 anglers and headed up the coast. With the gorgeous weather on the coast today we were able to work up the coast and check out some territory that we have not checked since the beginning of our season. We started our day in 260 feet of water and found some spots reacting quite well with both nice Reds and Coppers while others held smaller models. After cycling through a handful of different spots we decided to move into slightly shallower water. Fishing with our double dropper loops and 12 ounce sinkers with live Anchovie or sardine we had steady fishing on some big browns, Coppers and beautiful Reds. Our 36 anglers stuck with it through the tangles and fished hard putting together a very enjoyable day. Our totals today were 226 Reds, 58 Coppers, 76 misc. Rockfish and 4 Lingcod. The Coral Sea is a go tomorrow with a lighter load on the 3/4 Day trip while the Stardust needs a handful more to get off the dock on there 1/2 day trip tomorrow .
