Dock fishing has picked up once again, the striper and catfish have both been biting on sardines. Worms have been catching 2lbs to 3 lbs striper and sardines have been catching smaller striper but big catfish. Many catfish that have been caught in the last week and are between 3lbs to 15lbs.

Catfish have been on the chew lately in shallow water points and snady beach coves. Stripers have also been biting very well off of the Marina dock as well as a few 2 lb. to 4 lb. largemouth bass. Early morning, Late evening seems to be the ticket due to the excessive heat. As the water begins to warm up, the catfish keeps on biting on the daily basis. There has been larger size catfish between 8 to 20 lbs being hacked off of the Marina dock. Also Stripers have been doing well using jug worms or cut pieces of sardines/ anchovies. Most of the striper have been caught on personal or rental boats.
