Surface Water Temp: 79.0 degrees
Fish Plants: There are no fish plants scheduled.
Lake Hours: Wednesday- Sunday 5:45AM- 6:45PM
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the mid 60’s to low 100's.
The bass bite slowed down this week. They are down deeper between 20-30 ft. Senkos, ikas, and drop shotting plastics are working best for catching bass. Anglers are catching the majority of the bass off the points.
STRIPER
There has been some reports of striper being caught near the dams. Swim baits and shad colored flukes are recommended for catching striper.
CATFISH
Catfish are starting to pick up! Anglers are catching them between 4-5 pounds. Cut bait, night crawlers and stink bait work best for catfish.
PANFISH
There were many reports of panfish caught a pound and under. Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish.
TROUT
There were no reports of trout caught this week. Nightcrawlers, rooster tails, kastmasters and bait covered in Lip Ripperz hatchery dust work best for trout. The best time to fish for trout is after a stock.
***The launch ramp is closed to Private boaters.We are still open for boat rentals, trail access and shoreline fishing.***

Lake Record Largemouth Bass
March 16, 2007: Mike Long of Poway, 16.43 lb bass. He was fishing the west dam with a 6” “Real Trout” Rago swimbait.

March 30, 2015: Jesse Mena of Hemet caught a 4.72 pound redear fishing with a nightcrawler.

March 2, 2012: Richard Skilliter of Anaheim caught a 56.8 pound catfish fishing with shrimp.

March 14, 2009: Andrew Avalos of Hemet caught a 15.45 pound trout. He was fishing with Powerbait near the east dam.
