The water temperature is between 70-72 degrees.
Catfish: High Action Cats are an excellent
catch right now with the warmer weather and the recent stocking of the Catfish near launch ramp 2. They are hitting on chicken livers, night crawlers, mackerel and anchovies.
Blue Gill: Slow Action- caught this week on white and yellow jigs, wax worms and of course live crickets that we sell at the marina store.
Large Mouth Bass: Medium Action- are still hanging out in the reeds hitting on frogs, peppers and night crawlers. Anglers are hitting the Stripers in the early morning boils over by the inlet using chicken livers, anchovies and trolling with umbrella rigs.
Trout has had no reports.
