The Island Spirit departed Ventura Sportfishing this morning at 5:00 am with 19 eager anglers, ready to wind up all those quality rockfish and lingcod that we've been scoring here recently. The final total for the day was limits of rockfish (190) and 6 lingcod.

Unfortunately, the weather has taken a bit of a turn for the worse and we won't have anything going out tomorrow morning. We will, however, start Wednesday off with a bang and take a look for some gamefish like white seabass, yellowtail and maybe even some halibut! Wednesdays trip is departing an hour earlier than normal, at 4:00 am.

REMEMBER: No ice chest's or coolers allowed on any boat. We simply don't have enough room for them. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted; they must be purchased on board in the galley (photo I.D. required). Fishing licenses, rods, terminal tackle, food or gratuity are NOT included in your ticket price.
