We just had our trout opener on the 16th of November. Stay tuned to hear about the results.

The trout are still at the fair to good range. They are coming in at about 1-5 pounds. Fisherman are using jigs, worms, and spinner baits anywhere near the big island or the back side.

The crappie came out really good this past week. They are weighing in anywhere from .5- 1.25 pounds. Near the dam and jigs are the best way to catch them.

The catfish are still doing ok as well. They live anywhere in the flats and can be caught up to 5 pounds. Night crawlers dipped in garlic sauce is the best.
