30,500lbs of 'Tail walker' rainbow trout have been trucked in from Bridgeport Nebraska in the past 13 weeks!
2,000lbs of 'Tail walkers' will be stocked on Wednesday February 25th.

Another awesome week of trout fishing. Most fisherman caught their 5 fish limits from the shoreline in 4 hours or less the first few days after last week's stocking. Large schools of trout have been holding in front of the concession building by the bubble holes and in the flats. Shoreline fishing has been good in all zones. Trout are chewing on any colored power bait, white, pink and green mouse tails, inflated night crawlers dipped in 'bite on' garlic scent. Artificial baits such as SC shiners, and Kastmasters also working well. Fly fisherman continue to enjoy a much improved midge bite with black/red zebra midges and blood midges fished 6" off the bottom.

Lots of BIG trout this week! Topping off the list was float tuber Art Ng of Diamond Bar with a 9lb 12oz tail walker that hit a white mini jig in the flats. Gary Harnden of Los Angeles weighed in a 9lb 11oz trout soaking chartreuse power bait off the shoreline in zone 1. Emily Friedenberg of Los Angeles caught a 9lb 10oz trout soaking power bait at the launch ramp. Shami Ramdial of Mission Viejo landed a 9lb 08oz tail walker on rainbow power bait in zone 2. Addison Than of Long Beach netted a 9lb 06oz tail walker on orange power bait in zone 2 off the shoreline. Rodger Takahashi of RSM weighed in a 9lb 05oz trout on a mouse tail in zone 3 off the shoreline. Mathew Lawhead of Mereno Valley caught a 9lb 02oz on yellow power bait in zone 3. Greg Diab of Aliso Viejo nailed a 8lb 04oz trout on power bait off a boat at the dock. Chuck Nelson weighed in a 8lb 02oz trout that was caught on power bait in the flats off a boat. John Elias of Chino caught a 7lb 02oz trout on a mouse tail at the bubble holes on a boat. Martha Galpin of San Juan Capistrano weighed in a 6lb 08oz trout that was caught on a night crawler in zone 1. Brendan Fernandez landed a 6lb 08oz tail walker soaking an inflated night crawler off a boat at the dock.

Cooler weather is expected this week which means this week's stocking of fish will be on the chew!
