Striper: High action. Abundant amounts of stripers caught by anglers this week over at the inlet/dam area using cut mackerels, shads, spooks and chicken livers, top water lures and jigs.

Blue gill: Medium Action Blue gills starting to become active around the marina using night crawlers.

Catfish: Low action. Slow for cats, only a few reported this past week.

Largemouth: High action. Many anglers this week catching plenty of largemouth along points, coves, and along the shores. Try catching them on purple and green robo worms, meal worms, wax worms, and night crawlers have been doing extremely well.

Trout: Trout stock will be resuming, soon as we get the schedules we will post it.


Water temp: 54-58 degrees

This week water district has lowered the water another three feet, having said that, be careful over in the east end due to some areas are shallow. Striper: High Action. Striper boils early morning hours over by the dam, using cut mackerels, shad, spooks and chicken livers. Bluegill: Slow action.
