Capt Tino called in from the Freedom with a wrap up of their 2 day trip from the outer banks, the fishing was fair and we ended with 31 Bluefin Tuna to 25 lbs, 4 Yellowfin Tuna and 10 Yellowtail. A couple of the Yellowtail we real bombers going between 25 - 30 lbs, and one of those will probably take the jackpot. We also had a Dorado strike on the jig, which was lost. We also had 12 Bonito and pretty much limits of rockfish for everyone. We are headed out again tonight on an exploratory trip, we do have a few spots left for this trip. To get in on this trip give the landing a call at 310-832-8304.
The Freedom is the premier overnight boat in SoCal. To book a spot please call our office at (310) 832-8304 or BOOK ONLINE.

Capt Tino from the Freedom called in a trip wrap up for their overnight trip, we ended the day with 53 Yellowtail even though we doubled that in hookups. We lost a lot to seals, the rocks and anglers not using the right gear, the right gear will make all the difference. We recommend that you use at least 40 lb set up for yoyo irons and 30 lb setup for the mackeral bait we are catching...... Read More
