Captain Greg Ewart called in with an update from the Island Spirit. Today we had very good fishing on the 3/4 day trip. We ended up with 24 White Seabass (up to 33 pounds) and 1 Halibut 32 pounds) for our 30 anglers.
We have plenty of spots available at Ventura Sportfishing.

Today we had 12 WSB, 1 Halibut and 1 Calico Bass. "Caught a few and lost a few" but at least the seabass are back on the chew. Captain Forest left this morning at 5am and made enough bait to fish with. "Big Ed" was the first to hook up and land what ended up being a jackpot 33.5lb white seabass. Captain Greg is at the helm tomorrow, so it's up to him to keep the ball rolling, wish us luck! For reservations...... Read More
