The fishing season is running strong. Over the weekend we had excellent counts from all three boats. Red Snapper, Lingcod and other bottom species dominate the counts. One gamefish was caught over the weekend.. Pacific Dawn put an 18lb halibut on deck during a 1.5 day trip to Santa Rosa Island.

March and April or known as bottom fishing months, but we are still keeping an eye out for surface fish. Not a bad idea to bring a halibut/seabass rod just in case. Otherwise.. bring your jigs and other hard baits, plus your shrimp flies and 8oz to 12oz sinkers. Not a lot of tackle is required, but be sure to have enough for your entire day.

Give  our landing office a call to speak with someone about tackle needs, and booking your spots (805) 676-3474
