Additional helpful information:
Trout action has been very good, with many fishermen near limits. Spring green, corn yellow, and orange Power Bait colors are the working best. Several anglers caught carp weighing in at over 10 lbs. Prado Regional Park will be hosting a Trout Derby on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Derby entry fees are $20.00 per person plus vehicle entry fee. Cash and other prizes will be awarded. The derby hours are 7:00AM - 1:00PM. Park gates open at 6:00AM.

Trout action was reported along Parking Lot #1 at the front of the lake. Rainbow Power Bait or Night Crawlers were the most commonly used baits.
