The Upper lake was stocked last week, 1-28. Anglers are catching decent sized Stripers off of the Dam on small to medium sized swimbaits. Largemouth are biting well off of the shore on worms and crankbaits. Elsewhere on the lake the bait bite still continues to be good down the Ski Arm.

Bluegill: Poor

Carp: Poor

Catfish: Poor

Crappie: Poor

Redear: Poor

Trout: Good
Avg. Size: 1 lb

Largemouth have been biting off of the shoreline and in Hawk's Nest on blodworms, roboworms, and nightcrawlers. Crankbaits have also been working for both largemouth and Stripers. The same trend is still holding tight up here at the Upper Lake. Anchovies and sardines are still working great down the Ski Arm by the entrance to Necktie Canyon, Kong Island and the Buoy Line. Swimbait action continues to pick up more and more with trailing, working great in the Ski Arm at about 40 feet off of the Dam.
