It was another good week of trout fishing, and many anglers enjoyed limit style action with fish to 8 lbs. Those flat lining Rapala's, flicker shad, and Kastmaster's did well in the North end of the lake and from Cachuma point to Santa Cruz point. It was the usual spots from the shore, E point, Harvey's, and the area to right of the buoy line. The bass bite has started to come around, and at least one angler reported a good jig bite. Also the crappie have begun to stir, as many fishermen had a couple incidental slabs to go along with the 'bows. Carp are still being spotted in the late morning, early afternoon hours providing archers with a bit of action as well. All other species were absent from the count.
