Striper King Classic Derby
Good morning. Just ahead of the Striper King Classic 3 charity event at Diamond Valley Lake in the Hemet/Temecula area, there were a few monster stripers caught. Attached are the pictures for your review and descriptions:

1. Kenny Baldwin of Redlands, pictured above 19.96lb striper caught on the East Dam area using white flies. Kenny makes his own white trolling flies. Kenny's getting some "practice time" in prior to the Striper King Classic 3 event on September 28th. Note: Kenny placed 3rd in last year's SKC2 event and is the owner of the popular Producer Plug lure.

2. Vern Galliher of Hemet, Photo #1 25.00lb striper caught on the south side of DVL. Vern was using a Mike Southerland special fly. Vern stated, "When I opened the stripers mouth, I could almost fit my entire head in it!". Vern also noted that the striper was blind in one eye.

Thanks for everyone's efforts in spreading the word about the Striper King Classic 3 charity event. The benefitting charities are Valley-Wide Recreation & Parks District of San Jacinto/Hemet and the Wounded Warriors. If you need any additional information/pictures, please advise. Many thanks!
