Fish Report:
Catfish: Lots of hot action from the Kitties. Big Cats have been caught & lots of them. They can be found in all of the coves and along the shoreline. Chicken liver, anchovies and nightcrawlers are all working for the Cats.
Striped Bass: There is lots of activity from the Stripers. The top water bite is really working in the evening. Swimbait, jerkbait and Fly fishing is working for the 4 to 5 lb. Striper. Umbrella rigs or trolling 20' to 55' in the water column is also working. The fall Striper bite is looking good right now.
Largemouth: The Largemouth bite is OK. Drop shots, roboworms, sinkos and frogs have all produced good action. Smelly jelly product has proved helpful in some situations.
Bluegills: Very little action for the Bluegills. Fishermen are catching scattered limits. The best location to fish for Bluegill is the East Bay with nightcrawlers.
Trout & Carp: no action reported.
