Fishing has been great at Lake Perris either from a boat or from the shoreline. Meanwhile the back of the island or Lots 8 & 9 have been good for Bluegill or Redear. The best depths to fish have been 15' to 28'. Use live bait like nightcrawlers, crickets or wax worms.

The Bass bite at Lake Perris has started to slow. Some fishermen expect the Bass bite to pick up again. The suggested bait for the Bass are plastics like roboworms or Yamamoto's. The top water bite also looks like it is improving.

Weedless baits and spinner baits are working well. Other baits to try are Senkos and oxbloods. Bluegill are biting on crickets and mealworms. ...... Read More
