Catfish & Bluegill are active at Prado Lake, but the fishing is slow

Prado Lake reported the following information:

Catfish: Catfish action remains slow all around the lake. Only a few fishermen reported good catches. Those who had some success were using mackerel or shrimp.
Bluegill: Few Bluegill are being caught with either nightcrawlers or mealworms.

There were reports for no other species at Prado Lake.

Prado lake is stocked with 750 lbs. of catfish regularly by the county. A California State Fishing License is required. Hard bottom boats up to 16 ft. in length are allowed. No gas engines are allowed on the lake.
