Fish Plants: No more this season
Lake Hours: 5:30am - 6:30pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the low 60's to high 90's this week. Wind has been picking up around 2pm.
Drink plenty of water and watch out for snakes!

BASS
Anglers are catching limits on largemouth averaging between 1-3 pounds! People are using night crawlers and plastic worms in the green, dark brown, orange and pink colors.
STRIPER
The striper bite is still on! There was a couple 15-20 pound striper caught this past week, but anglers are catching many stripers averaging 4-6 pounds. Spoons, flies and lures that replicate baby bass are working best for striper. Mike Southerland of Hemet caught a 21.76 pound striper using a homemade fly.
CATFISH
Anglers are catching catfish near the east dam using nightcrawlers, cut mackerel, shrimp, and flies.
TROUT
No reports of trout caught this week. Typical bait for trout are mini jigs, powerbait and powerworms.
PANFISH
Crappie, redear, and bluegill are still coming in by the pound! The hot spots have been around the ladders along the east and west dam as well as the south west corner. Nightcrawlers and meal worms work best for panfish.
