Monster WSB caught today! Joey Horvath of Camarillo caught a personal best 62.94lb white seabass this morning.. Bill Haggerty of Oxnard also caught a personal best 49.2lb white seabass. Other notable catches.. Shelly McNamara caught at 16lb yellowtail, Issac Cortez caught a 25lb seabass and Bruce Wolf caught a 25lb halibut.

Not wide open by any stretch.. but solid enough for it only being May 31st. June is here.. our perennial "hot month" at the Channel Islands. Lets hope our recent catches are only a sign of even better fishing to come!
