The Western Outdoor News ROCKFISH RUMBLE was a huge success! Everyone came out gunning for the "big boyz" throwing large jigs and plastics for the biggest lingcod or rockfish they could get. Island Spirit came out on top with the top prize taken home by 15 yr old Jake Klinshaw of Ventura.. his 13lb lingcod took 1st place! Pacific Eagle came in 2nd place and Pacific Dawn followed up in the 3rd spot.
All Jackpot winners got $200 dollars worth of Turner's Outdoors gift cards, but young Jake also got the TRIP FOR 2 to ALASKA and the "champion plaque".

24 Lingcod, 266 Rockfish, 1 Sheephead, 6 Sculpin and 5 Ocean Whitefish.
