The water level at Lake Skinner is up 6 to 7 ft. Stripers have been boiling in the early morning hours. Troll all over the lake using shad, umbrella rigs, flukes and swimbait.

Trout anglers have been limiting out from boats and Ramp 2. Shore anglers have been using PowerBait, worms and super dupers.

Very few Catfish have been seen. If you want Catfish fish deep in the middle of the lake. The Bluegill bite has slowed and we have no reports. Largemouth bass are in the East Bay and there have been some very nice catches. There should be a good spring bite. They have been hitting on shad, or lures and green or pumpkin plastics.

The next trout plant will be on December 21, 2012.
