The 25th annual Lake Isabella Junior Pheasant hunt will be held on November 17 & 18, under the sponsorship of The Kern River Valley Fish
& Game Habitat Club, California Department of Fish & Game, U.S. Forest Service, and is FUNDED BY: THE NRA FOUNDATION.
The two day event is divided into four independent hunts, each limited to 30 Junior Hunters. A parent or guardian accompanies each Junior Hunter. Dogs with their handlers are available to provide assistance and guidance.
ANNOUNCEMENT DATE: (Window) October--November 16, 2012
PHEASANT HUNT FOR JUNIOR HUNTERS
Applications are being accepted for the Lake Isabella Junior Pheasant Hunt to be held, November & 17th & 18th. The hunt is limited to 120 Junior Hunters, and the deadline for applications is, November 16. Dog handlers are also needed for this event.
The hunt is FUNDED BY: THE NRA FOUNDATION. In order for the Fish & Game Habitat Club to continue this hunt we ALSO need the continued assistance of the community.

Great Weather, Plenty of Water and Thousands of Fine Looking Trout Await You at Lake Isabella!
Lake IsabellaVolunteers were hard at work this Wednesday morning planting several thousand trout in Isabella Lake for the 24th Annual Isabella Lake Fishing Derby being held this weekend. More than 30 volunteers used nets to lift trout from holding pens located off of French Gulch Marina and load them into tanks on waiting boats.
