Yet another beautiful day today fishing our beautiful Channel Islands. Fishing did slow down as far as exotics go, but as we all know this is the norm.

Today on the Pacific Eagle young angler Jacob Aina was the lucky angler today. He single handedly brought this beautiful Halibut to color before Capt. Jeff Nester stuck it with the gaff. Weighing in at 25 lbs, this Halibut will be known forever as Jacobs first. But not only was this Jacobs first Halibut, but it was his first fishing trip, his first Jackpot win and as I am sure he got bit by the Fishing Bug and will be back again, today will be known as his first time aboard the Pacific Eagle. What a day!

In no time the WSB and Halibut will be full speed and all the boats will be full again. The very next trip could be the trip the WSB and huge 50+ pound Halibut decide to go WFO!

Reserve your spot today!
