Fishing as a whole is doing great and most anglers are coming back every day with fish. Stripers are still biting throughout most of the lake and are still hanging out around 20 to 40 feet deep. Anglers are catching Catfish at the buoy line biting mackerel and night crawlers. Nightcrawlers and frozen mackerel are great bait choices while also having a top water bait ready to throw is a good idea just in case they boil.
The morning bite is still the best bite while the afternoon slows down only to pick up during the last hour of the day. The largies are still biting nightcrawlers in Elizabeth Cyn, Dry Gulch, and Sharron's Rest. The lagoon still has perfect water conditions so you can see the largies just swimming along the shoreline and around the fishing pier.
Panfish are going crazy over mealworms and wax worms at the lagoon. Night fishing at the lagoon is still pretty good but fish seem more active in the late evening as the bite dies off around 10:00 PM.
