Warmer air temps slowed the fishing a bit, but still all gamefish were being caught. Trout have been coming out of the dam area on drifted and trolled nightcrawlers. Bass are biting top waters early, jigs and texas rigs during the day.

Crappie to 2 lbs. are being caught back in the narrows on mini jigs tipped with a meal worm. Some anglers reported near limits. Catfish can be found in the creek channels and in the backs of shallow coves. Cut mackerel is getting the best results with the cats. Bow fishing for Carp has been fair in the evenings around the chalk cliffs.

There have been spots of shad pushed up on the bank in Santa Cruz and...... Read More

Both Largemouth and Smallmouth are still biting on top waters early and bottom bouncing techniques during the day. Crappie made a good showing as well with slabs up to 2 lbs....... Read More
