The fishing on the South Fork of Bishop Creek has been good this past week with most anglers getting their limit. Salmon Eggs and nightcrawlers are top baits while pumpkinseed Trout Traps tipped with mealworms is working best for those who prefer artificial baits. Natural colored Berkley powerworms have been solid all season and continue to produce. The biggest creek fish weighed in at Parchers this week was a brightly colored rainbow caught by Steve Toppen of San Dimas, CA using a crawler. The chunky Alper weighed in at 3lbs 1oz.
