Upper lake WATER TEMP: Mid 50's
Lower Lagoon WATER TEMP: Mid 50's

The Department of Fish and Game will be stocking the Upper Lake with Rainbow Trout the week of March 25th.

Dry Gulch Will be CLOSED from March 26th thru May 26th for Fish Spawning!

With the warmer water the largemouth have taken off once again, Largies are up in the shallows and biting. Roboworms and nightcrawlers have been snagging the bass hanging out in waters from 2 to 25 feet deep. Most of the bass seem to be hanging around the outer edges of the coves and along the out sides of the main channel. In the coves still, lots of decent action with an occasional small mouth in the mix. The Smallies are also biting Roboworms and jigs in deeper water.

The catfish have still been biting anchovies and mackerel in roughly 80 feet at the buoy line. Stripers are still struggling to find a beat, anglers keep coming up short on stripers in the open waters but the first two days of the trout plants have been the best day for the few lone stripers cursing around looking for some trout. The lagoon has still been productive every day, the crankbait bite has died down in recent weeks but the plastic bite is great and they are loving the drop shot rig. Watermelon Senkos are also working new the reeds by the bridge and back near the R.V campsites.
