Trout fishing is fair for those trolling early in the AM with Rapalas, needlefish, and Phoebes in Santa Cruz Bay, and around Arrowhead Island. Flat lining the best method as the biters are on or near the surface. Shore fishing is also fair in Harveys Bay, PowerBait and 4' leaders were in order.
Bass fishing has been up and down, but limit style action on largemouth to 4 lbs. was available for most. Cranks, blades, jigs, and worms all took fish last week. Bow fishing has been good at times around the island and in the narrows in the mornings. All other species were no-shows last week.
