March is a GREAT month for catching quality bass! The bass are active - biting on soft-plastic bait, soaked in "Lunker Potion Fish Attractant"! We have a full moon coming-up on the 8th, Daylight savings begins on the 11th and Spring begins on the 20th of this month - all of which make the bass more active! Under these conditions if you haven't already made your reservations open dates will fill-up fast during March thru June. The live bait "shad" should be prevalent in mid April as in previous years, depending on the weather.

The following dates right now are available in March but will fill-up quickly!: March 6th thru 17th, 19th thru 22nd and 25th & 26th.

This is our SIXTEENTH consecutive year as Fishing Guides at Lake Casitas and we look forward to serving you again and if you're a new customer we look forward to meeting you and sharing with you some "tips" on one of the most popular, fun-filled sport.

Kid's Fishing Day March 24th, 2012 Lake Casitas Recreation Area to host Free Kids Fishing Day. The event is scheduled from 9 am to noon. Hot dog lunch will be provided while supplies last. Kids under the age of 16 can fish for free and without a license. Anglers that are 16 or 17 years of age are welcome, but they must possess a valid fishing license as required by the California Department of Fish and Game. No pre-registering accepted, registration will begin at 8:45 am on the day of the event. Vehicle entry fees apply.
