Surface Water Temp: 57-58 degrees
Fish Plants: Scheduled for Jan. 19

Weather: Forecasts show sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60's and low 70's this week. Please come in the Marina store and tell us your fish stories!
BASS
Bass fishing has been fair. The swim bait bite is still tough right now but should pick up after the trout plant. The bigger fish are being caught at 50-70 feet. Dropshotting, Texas rigging, and Carolina rigging have still been productive for those working hard.
STRIPER
Striper fishing is slowing down. Some 2-5 lb. stripers have been reported. Trout pattern swimbaits work great after the trout plants. Cut bait is still effective (sardines or anchovies).
TROUT
SIGN UP FOR THE TAGGED TROUT DERBY!!! JANUARY 20-29TH ONLY $10 TO ENTER, EACH ENTRY INCLUDES 1 RAFFLE TICKET. TROUT STOCK ON JANUARY 19TH! GREAT PRIZES FOR RAFFLE AND TAGGED TROUT. DFG will also be bringing trout during the week of derby. Powerbait, mini jigs, and kastmasters work the best for trout.
CATFISH
Anchovies, shrimp, and nightcrawlers are the best baits for Catfish. Fishermen in the third cove of shoreline have had some luck.
PANFISH
No reports of panfish lately.
