The weather at Lake Skinner has been beautiful, temperatures have been in the mid 70's. Which makes it a great time to come out and go fishing.

Anglers have been catching small trout and stripers. The successful baits have been rainbow and corn powerbait and the garlic trout mallows sold at the store and marina. For those who like to throw lures, Rapalas have been bring in the trout. The next stocking for trout will be on January 13, 2012.

We have had some catches of catfish, trout and striper over in the East End. Corn and rainbow colored PowerBait and trout mallows have been the best bait. Nightcrawlers and swimbait have also been fairly good as well. Finally the next trout stocking will be on December 29th. ...... Read More
