The trout action was excellent early in the week following the winds and the storm from the week prior with a few limits posted. DJ Sorenson from Huntington Beach caught a 7.1 lb. trout on garlic ale in the RC Cove. Fish are averaging 1-3 lbs. with a few larger fish showing. Best baits are chartreuse, orange and rainbow PowerBaits.
