Almost all species are biting at Silverwood Lake, Striper action just beginning, Trout very slow

Largemouth are decent in the live oak on power minnows. Bluegill are doing great off the rocks on worms. Catfish are doing very well on chicken liver, shrimp and mackerel in Miller's Cove and off the docks. Crappie are biting in Miller's Canyon off of worms. Striper action is starting to pick up in Chemise on anchovies. The weather is still too warm for trout.

Silverwood LakeLargemouth are active by Live Oaje on Power minnows. Bluegill are food off the rocks on nightcrawlers. Catfish are active in Cleghorn cove on chicken liver and shrimp. Silverwood LakeWe had reports of Catfish, Bluegill and Stripers being caught. Our fishermen have had plenty of luck with the live crickets we now carry at the Marina. Some other baits that have been doing well are Anchovies, nightcrawlers and chicken liver. Rapala floating lures in Fire-tiger and Berkley Atomic Teasers have also been fairing well. ...... Read More
