What an epic year so far here at the Channel Islands, the conditions are awesome. With 65-degree water these cold-blooded creatures we call fish really turn on. The Mirage was on the fish again today putting 20 white seabass on the boat followed by a couple halibut some nice lings and sheephead. Bobby V captain of the Seabiscuit had a nice haul of 30 white seabass for its 20 anglers and topped off by 2 halibut and 140 rockfish. Don't forget the local boats, the Aloha Spirit skippered by Shawn Steward had 18 biscuits today on the deck for its 16 anglers and a nice haul of calico bass as well. All together we had 71 white seabass and close to 1000 rockfish for the day.
